Job summary

Carlisle Residential Properties, Inc. is seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician to join our team in Wake Forest and Creedmoor, NC.

The role floats across three properties with a primary focus in Wake Forest, handling maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping under the Community Manager. The position requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years maintenance experience or equivalent.
• CPO and CFC certifications strongly preferred or obtainable in reasonable timeframe.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekdays and weekends; after-hours on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; multi-family maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance, including painting, filters, grounds upkeep, and common area cleaning.
• Repair and maintain community equipment: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
• Respond to residents and staff repair requests; complete work orders promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and deliver excellent customer service during apartment visits.
• Coordinate with vendors (landscaping, painting, pest control, etc.) as needed.
• Follow safety/OSHA requirements and obtain necessary certifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.
