Floating Maintenance Technician

Richman Property Services is seeking a full‑time Floating Maintenance Technician for the South, FL Region.

Pay Range: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (actual pay based on skills and experience, discuss with recruiter).

Location: South, FL Region

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines.
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and the Clean Air Act.
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan.
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
  • Perform on‑call duties and occasional overtime.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED; industry‑related courses preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of two years of maintenance and general repair experience or groundskeeping.
    • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
    • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws.
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Skills & Certifications:
    • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license required.
    • Proficient in English for communication and record‑keeping purposes.
  • Key Requirements:
    • Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a multi‑family apartment community.
    • EPA 608 type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement.
    • Ability to work independently in multi‑site or larger properties, and within a team environment.
    • Valid/active driver’s license, ability to travel within assigned portfolio/region in South, FL.
