ZRS Management LLC in Meridian, MS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service residents and support the Maintenance Supervisor. You’ll perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repairs, handle apartment turnovers within 3–5 days, and maintain safety and documentation.

You’ll keep common areas clean, monitor exterior conditions, and contribute to preventive maintenance while ensuring efficient, professional work. Growth opportunities toward Maintenance Supervisor are available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• EPA certification preferred.
• If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Conduct apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, cleaning windows).
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters issues; assist preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure safety and maintain inventory of tools and equipment; keep work area clean and orderly.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician’s primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our residents. The Maintenance Technician will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide skilled, efficient and professional service. Through dedication and uncompromised service, this position can be promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. The position of Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Property Manager. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, including but not limited to: Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and any other aspect as needed. Perform apartment turnover maintenance in three to five business days and turnover checklist completion. Turnover maintenance includes but is not limited to: installation of blinds, change filters, replace bulbs, replace drip pans as needed, and replace door stoppers, caulk, and other miscellaneous repairs as needed. Common area maintenance includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, cleaning windows etc. Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc. Help maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for area of responsibility. Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise. Enter any newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory. Keep work area clean and orderly. Observe all safety rules.
