Job summary

SARES REGIS Group is seeking a Floating Maintenance Supervisor II for our Sunnyvale, CA location. The role supports Northern California communities, coordinating maintenance and supervising staff and contractors to maintain property conditions and standards.

Responsibilities include bidding, scheduling, and overseeing repairs, while ensuring safety and quality. The position requires strong communication, leadership, and a willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing property maintenance and supervising staff.
• Prefer Yardi property management software knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate bids, vendors and in-house staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees and outside contractors in maintenance and repairs.
• Obtains bids from outside contractors and reviews them for action.
• Orders and receives supplies and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinates work by outside vendors and inspects completed work.
• Inspects facilities and determines service needs and required equipment.
• Establishes procedures to meet schedules and efficiency.
• Suggests changes to improve crew efficiency and safety.
• Assists Property Manager with maintenance budget planning and administration.
• Participates in after-hours and emergency coverage as needed.

DAYS REQUIRED: MONDAY - FRIDAY

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to assist in Northern California with our beautiful community, The Martin, as home property! This is an excellent opportunity in a beautiful location for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry!

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordinating of employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds.

Additional responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Directs employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs and ground maintenance.
• Obtains bids for work from outside contractors. Assembles, analyzes and submits bids to superiors for action.
• Orders and receives supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinates work performed by outside vendors and inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• Assists Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget.
• Participates in after hours and emergency coverage as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor
• Prefer Yardi experience
• Must have experience in all trades
• Must have excellent written, communication and computer skills
• Past supervisory experience a must
• Current driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.

Salary is $38.00-$42.00/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
