Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision in the assigned area. Responsibilities include delivering patient care to a range of ages and upholding the system's mission and patient service standards.

Must be a graduate of an approved practical nursing program with Ohio LPN licensure and BLS certification. Proficiency in venipuncture and blood collection, and experience with EPIC In-basket are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing.
• Current LPN license for the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient with venipuncture and blood specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for assigned patients under supervision.
• Deliver nursing services to patients in accordance with LPN scope of practice.
• Uphold the mission, vision, values and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
