Customer Experience Specialist

Major Objectives
  • The Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for executing the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve set occupancy.
  • Develops creative methods to increase prospective residents and assists with marketing efforts to promote positive awareness and increase traffic.
  • Assesses prospective residents' needs and adapts sales approaches to improve closing ratios.
  • Performs leasing of apartments by communicating value and understanding market conditions.
  • Keeps abreast of industry changes through training and research.
  • Ensures resident and employee experiences align with the Garrett Management vision.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in creating an exemplary customer experience, responding to inquiries, and showing apartments.
  • Respond to inquiries, schedule tours, and qualify residents.
  • Complete leasing forms, notify residents of approval, and assist with move-in.
  • Maintain resident files, manage lease renewals, and promote positive relations.
  • Address resident needs, ensure safety, and maintain property aesthetics.
  • Support a varied work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Participate in training and follow-up activities to ensure resident satisfaction.
Prerequisites
  • Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • At least 1 year of customer service and leasing experience with new construction.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication.
  • Ability to learn property software and arrive on time.
  • Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
Pre-Prerequisites
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and teamwork mentality.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and support team efforts.
Physical Demands
  • Climb stairs, walk the property, lift up to 25 lbs, and sit or stand for long periods.
Training and Orientation
