codeCampus Academy, LLC is seeking a Floating Lead Instructor in the Rosemead area to support partner schools with STEAM activities. The role focuses on delivering our curriculum to students in grades TK-8th, while collaborating with site staff and building trusted relationships with families.

Ideal candidates bring teaching experience and strong communication skills. Training is paid, and the position runs during the current school year with opportunities for ongoing extension.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Available to work the current school year and beyond.
• Available Monday - Friday from 2:30PM to 5:45PM.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students using our curriculum.

About the role

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Floating Lead Instructor in the Rosemead area for the current school year.

As a Floating Lead Instructor, you will:

• Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area
• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Teach students in grades tK-8th
• Create relationships with parents and students that build on trust and respect
• Create a safe environment for the students
• Additional duties as assigned

About you

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately
• Availableto work forthe current school year and beyond

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
