CodeCampus Academy, LLC in Rosemead, CA is seeking a Lead Instructor to join our after-school STEAM program for the current school year. You will partner with site staff, lead projects using our curriculum, and teach students from TK to 8th grade.

This role is open to early-career and experienced educators. Training is paid, and you must be available Monday–Friday 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are appreciated.

Qualifications

About the role

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor in the Rosemead area for the current school year.

As a Lead Instructor, you will:

• Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area
• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Teach students in grades TK-8th
• Create relationships with parents and students that build on trust and respect
• Create a safe environment for the students
• Additional duties as assigned

About you

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately
• Availableto work forthe current school year and beyond
• Available Monday -Friday from 2:30PM to 5:45PM
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Willing to go through our professional development training program

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
