Qualifications

• National phlebotomy certification through AMT or ASCP is required or registry eligible to take exam within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens.
• Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
• Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies.
• May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results.
• Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
• Expected to train and onboard new employees.
