Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is expanding and seeking a fast, friendly Family Nurse Practitioner to support multiple clinics across East North Carolina (Wilmington, Swansboro, Havelock, Kinston). You will provide urgent and primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine with a patient-centered approach in a high-volume urgent care setting.

The role requires leadership across clinics, flexibility with shifts, and strong communication to coordinate care across teams.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and wound care.
• Splinting and immobilization.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• Assess dermatology concerns.
• Manage common eye problems.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide emergency management.
• Offer general GYN care.
• Care for patients including children of all ages.
• Deliver occupational medicine and telemedicine services.
