Since 1938, Securityplus Federal Credit Union has proudly served our members and communities as a not-for-profit financial institution. Our mission is to empower people with financial security, providing the tools, resources, and guidance they need to reach their goals with confidence.

Guided by our CARES values of Collaboration, Agility, Respect, Excellence, and Spirit, we create meaningful connections and deliver exceptional service in everything we do. We believe in doing what is right for our members, supporting one another as a team, and making a positive impact that extends far beyond our branches.

Our vision is to be our members’ first choice by providing experiences that inspire trust, confidence, and long-term relationships. When you join Securityplus, you become part of a purpose-driven team that believes in service, growth, and the power of community.

About this Role:

Ready to elevate our member experience? The Financial Service Representative II plays an important role in delivering personalized financial solutions and strengthening member relationships. In this role, you’ll assist members with complex transactions, guide them through their financial journeys, and proactively promote products and services that meet their needs, while ensuring every interaction reflects our mission and values.

You will take the lead in creating exceptional member experiences through consultative conversations, teamwork, and a commitment to service excellence. Your expertise and care will help members achieve their financial goals while contributing to the growth and success of Securityplus.

This is an opportunity for a motivated, service-driven professional to make a meaningful impact—on our members, our team, and the communities we proudly serve.

Requirements
In this full-time non-exempt role, you’ll be responsible for:
Excellent Communication Skills:

You’re a natural communicator, making it easy for members to understand complex financial information, no matter the platform—be it face-to-face, over the phone, or in writing. You create a warm, welcoming environment that fosters trust and builds member loyalty with every interaction.

Executing Transactions with Precision:

Accurately process a wide range of transactions—payments, card orders, and digital banking requests with a strong focus on efficiency, precision, and attention to detail, ensuring seamless service for every member interaction.

Quick to Learn and Eager to Apply:

New information? Bring it on. You’re quick to learn and excel at using that knowledge to enhance our members’ experience. Whether it's a new product, policy, or procedure, you adapt swiftly, always ready to provide accurate, relevant guidance that benefits our members and improves our service.

Skilled in Building Relationships:

You understand that every member interaction is a chance to deepen a relationship. Your interpersonal skills bring genuine empathy and dedication to each conversation, leaving members feeling heard, valued, and confident in their financial journey with us.

Master of Prioritization and Efficiency:

Banking can be fast paced, but you thrive in it. You handle multiple responsibilities without skipping a beat, managing your time to ensure that each member receives timely, individualized attention. You know how to keep things running smoothly while meeting both personal and team goals.

Driven and Goal-Oriented:

Self-motivation is at the heart of who you are. You’re proactive, always looking to make a meaningful impact for members and teammates alike. Your goal‑oriented approach means you don’t just meet expectations—you exceed them, contributing to a positive, results‑focused team culture.

Solid Financial and Regulatory Awareness:

A foundational understanding of financial services and regulatory requirements underpins everything you do. With respect for policies and a commitment to ethical practices, you’re ready to guide members responsibly, all while supporting the integrity of our credit union’s operations.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required to ensure you have the foundational skills to empower you to perform successfully in this role.
  • At least one year of hands‑on experience in customer service, retail, banking, or financial services.
  • Available to work Saturdays so members get the support they need when it’s most convenient for them.
  • You know what it takes to deliver a standout experience, and you’re ready to connect with members by understanding their needs and helping them reach their goals.
  • Cool, quirky skills we haven’t asked about yet? We’d love to hear about them.
Why You’ll Love Working at Securityplus:
Mission-Driven Organization:

You’ll be part of a credit union that’s all about helping our members and communities thrive.

Competitive Salary & Benefits Package:

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive retirement benefits, including a 401(k) with company contributions, health,

dental, and vision coverage, and the opportunity to earn an annual performance bonus and monthly incentives.

Opportunities for Career Growth:

We value internal development and offer opportunities for career progression into new roles and other departments as we continue to grow.

Work-Life Balance:

We believe in flexible time off. No burnout allowed here!

Culture of Fun and Collaboration:

No egos, no endless meetings—just a team of passionate people who genuinely love working together to make a positive difference.
