Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools seeks a Full Time Floating Custodian to maintain school interiors and exteriors. The role reports to district facilities leadership and requires reliability and physical stamina.

Responsibilities include opening/closing facilities, snow removal, restroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, dusting, and ensuring building security. A high school diploma or GED and a Minnesota driver's license are required. Work is on a day/evening schedule with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license in Minnesota.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety procedures.
• Ability to work with staff and follow supervision.
• Physical stamina for 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Opens and secures buildings and inspects access points.
• Performs snow removal and outdoor maintenance.
• Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Empties trash, sweeps and mops floors.
• Dusts surfaces, cleans windows, and maintains interiors.
• Maintains overall cleanliness and safety of facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
