Qualifications

  • Screen-out element determines minimum eligibility: ability to do the work with normal supervision.
  • Experience operating cranes to lift/move loads where maneuverability is not a factor.
  • Ability to perform simple lifts and safe rigging practices.
  • Experience working with a lifting team using standard hand signals.

Responsibilities

  • Operate floating cranes and various lattice/hydraulic booms up to 150 tons and 300 ft boom.
  • Make precise load placements under complex/adverse conditions.
  • Lift loads from water onto logs, buoys, boats, canals.
  • Handle, contain, and dispose of hazardous materials as required.
