Job summary

Clean Team in Paducah, KY is seeking a Floating Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at medical locations. Training provided; prior janitorial experience preferred. Work evenings, Mon-Fri, 5:00pm - 10:00pm, ensuring safe, sanitary spaces for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning exam rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces, restocking supplies, and reporting hazards. Candidates must be reliable and able to stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management to complete duties within the shift.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting and reaching.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment desirable; training provided.
• Reliable work ethic and commitment to high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial buildings
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

The ideal candidate will ensure that workspaces are safe, sanitary, and presentable, supporting a clean environment for employees and visitors alike. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Available Shift:

Monday-Friday 5:00pm - 10:00pm

Duties:

• Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial buildings

• Good time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Qualifications:

• Punctual and reliable attendance record.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
• Push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
