Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management to complete duties within shifts.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and reach during the shift.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial building.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable attendance record.


• Coordinate and communicate effectively with others.


• Push or pull up to 20 pounds.


• Stand for up to 8 hours.


• 18 years of age or older


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
