Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services (Optage Hospice) seeks a Full-Time Floating Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide to serve in Minnesota’s Twin Cities region. The role floats to various communities, including Hudson and New Richmond, WI, as needed, with mileage reimbursement and transport considerations.

Minnesota certification is required or obtain within 3 months. No weekends; Monday–Friday shifts in the 7am–2:30pm window; 8–10 shifts per pay period may be considered.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices OR successful completion of a home health aide instruction course and successful completion of home health aide competency testing to work in Home Care.
• Demonstrated competencies with person-directed, elder-directed practice and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• The Hospice CNA is a paraprofessional who works under an RN to provide care in the client’s home or related settings and promote comfort.
• Duties are performed in home health, skilled nursing, or assisted living environments.
