Job summary

Sares Regis Group in Newport Beach, CA, seeks a Floating Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support West Sacramento and other NorCal communities. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure repairs meet standards while traveling between properties.

The role requires 1 year in property management maintenance supervision, handyman skills across trades, and strong communication. Travel and schedule are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Experience in all trades.
• Excellent written, communication and computer skills.
• Past supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees and outside contractors in apartment needs, service requests, structural repairs and ground maintenance.
• Skilled experience with painting, general knowledge and experience in plumbing, HVAC, appliances, electrical and general handyman work.
• Obtains bids for work from outside contractors.
• Orders and receives supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinates work performed by outside vendors and inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type.
• Ground detail, landscape walks and amenity preparations.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• May participate in after hours and emergency coverage as assigned by supervisor.

OPPORTUNITY: FLOATING ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - WEST SACRAMENTO, CA

DAYS/HOURS REQUIRED: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 8AM - 5PM

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to float between our communities in Northern California, with The Strand community as home property. The locations the floater will support cover West Sacramento, Sacramento, Roseville, Lincoln and Napa. The Floating Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordinating of employee activities when the property is short staffed or down a Maintenance Supervisor. There will be future opportunities to apply and be considered for permanent property, however floating for 6months to a year is preferred.

• Ground detail, landscape walks and amenity preparations.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• May participate in after hours and emergency coverage as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 1 year of related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Prefer Yardi experience
• Must have experience in all trades
• Must have excellent written, communication and computer skills
• Past supervisory experience a must
• Current driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.

Salary range is $28.00-$30.00/hour. Auto allowance of $400/mo. is provided as the position requires travel from Sacramento up to Lincoln based on portfolio needs. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation and bonuses. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
