Job summary

Berger Communities is seeking a Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician to support multiple communities across PA/NJ area. You’ll handle repairs, prep vacant units, and keep grounds and amenities in top shape. Typical schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, with on-call rotation and travel across designated communities.

Qualifications

• Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and general repairs.
• EPA certification preferred and driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with appliance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Participate in snow removal and on-call rotation.
• Support multiple communities as needed within the portfolio.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and team members.
