Old City Academy in St. Augustine, FL is seeking an educator to create a safe, engaging classroom where children grow, learn, and build confidence daily. You will implement curriculum, guide behavior with positive reinforcement, and partner with families to ensure consistent, high-quality early learning experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Early Childhood Education degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements and classroom compliance expectations.
• CPR/First Aid and licensing requirements as applicable; able to pass background check and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

• Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
