Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Aurora, OH is seeking a part-time Floater Teacher to support teachers and families in creating a warm, safe learning environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years.

No classroom experience? Paid training provided. Duties include assisting instruction, supervising children, decorating classrooms, and communicating with parents to share updates.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As a Floater Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
