Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist - Floater in Mission Viejo, CA, for a contract role. The Phlebotomist will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and explain procedures to patients, maintaining a professional and compassionate environment.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, California credentials, and a high school diploma. Work is onsite Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM under supervision, with a 6-month contract and $25.30–$31.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• California state credentials/licenses required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; MA/paramedic training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties per procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labels post-venipuncture to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
