Urban Strategies seeks a PRN Floater Infant & Toddler Teacher in Edinburg, TX to support teachers and promote development in infants and toddlers across social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and linguistic growth. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, CDA enrollment, bilingual English/Spanish, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license with insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Enrollment in a CDA program is expected (tuition assistance may be available).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• A valid Driver’s License, vehicle and liability insurance are required; state ID may be needed for public transport users.

Responsabilités

• Assist with implementing Head Start standards, licensing requirements, and agency policies.
• Maintain open, friendly relationships with staff and families, respecting culture and diversity.
• Ensure child safety by following health and safety policies and reporting hazards.
• Provide breaks for teaching staff as assigned and support a language-rich interaction.
• Create a safe, clean indoor/outdoor environment and monitor playground health and safety.
• Support curriculum implementation and daily classroom routines.
