Celebree School seeks a Childcare Aide / Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in delivering high-quality care and education. In this entry-level role, you will help meet each child’s individual needs and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture where ideas are valued.

You will be part of a friendly environment focused on safety, development, and consistent communication with families, with shifts Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing smooth classroom transitions.
• Supervise children during all activities and use positive discipline techniques as needed.
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness and safety of the classroom.

• Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.


• Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.


• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.


• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.


• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.


• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.


• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.


• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
