Job summary

Early Education Services is seeking a Floater / Center Support in Brattleboro, VT. The role supports daily classroom operations through active engagement with children and assists with front desk coverage when needed.

Minimum qualifications include age 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, background check, basic computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete VT Career Ladder Level Fundamentals course or a 3 credit child development course within 2 years of hire.
• Must pass a background check and fingerprint check.
• Must have basic computer and data entry skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and implementation of curriculum with guidance from the lead teacher.
• Help assure completion of developmental screenings, ongoing assessments, curriculum plans, and family communication.
• Actively supervise and assure safety of children at all times.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team.
• Complete Career Ladder Level I Fundamentals Course or a three credit child development course within 12 months of hire.

Job description

Floater / Center Support- $17.57-$19.00/Hr., based on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking an individual to support the daily operation of classrooms through active engagement with children and completion of tasks, and to assist with front desk coverage when assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent. Must complete VT Career Ladder Level Fundamentals course or a 3 credit child development course within 2 years of hire. Must speak, write and understand Standard English. Must pass a background record and fingerprint check. One year of experience working with groups of young children in a center-based early childhood setting is preferred. Must have basic computer and data entry skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a pre-employment physical exam.
