Learn & Grow Child Development Center in New Haven, KY is seeking a dependable Floater/Support Staff member to join our team. You will support classrooms and staff to ensure every child receives attentive care and safe supervision throughout the day.

Responsibilities include floating between classrooms to provide coverage, assisting with supervision, activities, meals, naps, and outdoor play, plus maintaining a clean, organized environment and following all policies and licensing rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Childcare experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly across classrooms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Background check clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Support staff during transitions, meals, nap time, and outdoor play
• Follow all childcare policies, procedures, and licensing regulations
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Assist with classroom preparation and age-appropriate learning activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in multiple classroom settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be reliable, flexible, and dependable
• Ability to pass a background check as required by state licensing
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
