Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Floater Behavioral Aide in Fair Oaks, CA, to support students aged 5-22 across multiple school sites. The role involves travel (30+ miles one-way), implementing IEPs/BIPs, and providing individualized instructional help using ABA strategies.

Strong communication skills and reliability are essential. You will respond to crises, supervise transitions, and document daily behavior and progress while collaborating with teachers and staff.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED requirement
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance
  • Strong communication skills and reliable
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Preferred experience in school or treatment settings
  • Pro-ACT, CPI, and/or CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs
  • Provide individualized instructional assistance (paraprofessional/ instructional aide)
  • Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way) within the assigned region
  • Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and CPI intervention strategies
  • Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks
  • Facilitate and engage students in recreational and educational activities
  • Model and reinforce positive behaviors using ABA techniques
  • Record and maintain accurate daily data on behavior, progress, and incidents
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, teachers, and support staff
