Job summary

Acelero Learning, Inc. is seeking a Floater Assistant Preschool Teacher for Fall 2026 at our Dunbar (Laurel) Center in Kentucky.

You will support a Head Start classroom with 3- to 5-year-olds and collaborate with the Preschool Teacher to maintain a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. The role requires strong communication, a passion for children, and CDA credentials or enrollment to complete within two years, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

Qualifications

• CDA credentials or willingness to enroll to complete within two years.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or enrolled in a program to obtain such a degree.
• Strong communication and written skills; passion to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a child-centered curriculum and learning environment for 3-5 year-olds.
• Address challenging behaviors by observing and teaching new social/communication skills.
• Document progress using observations and anecdotal notes to individualize curriculum.
