Childcare Floater Teacher

We’re looking for aChildcare Floater Teacher to work at our center in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolinawho is flexible, dependable, and passionate about helping classrooms run smoothly while creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children.

This role is perfect for educators who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a difference throughout the school day.

What Is a Floater Teacher?

• Support multiple classrooms as needed
• Step in to assist with ratios, breaks, transitions, and coverage
• Work with different age groups, from infants through Pre‑K
• Be a valued part of the teaching team across the school

No two days are the same — and that’s what many of our floaters love most about the role.

Schedule

Monday–Friday; multiple shifts available!

• 2:00pm - 6:00pm
• 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on education and experience

• $14-16 per hour

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Flexibility and willingness to work with different age groups
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team‑first mindset
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
