Job summary

Blaze Credit Union is hiring a Float Teller for our Plymouth branch. You will engage with members, educate them on financial options, and process transactions with accuracy. This role supports other branches as needed and requires a commitment to excellent service.

The schedule is full-time (40 hours/week) with rotating Saturdays. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) matching up to 6%, tuition reimbursement, and generous PTO. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or GED.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum one year cash handling experience.
• Previous financial service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members, listen to them, and understand their situations.
• Educate members on Blaze capabilities.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy.
• Provide excellent service through face-to-face interactions daily.
• Support branches across Blaze’s metro area as a Float Teller.

Blaze is currently hiring for a Float Teller at our Plymouth branch. As a Float Teller, you may be asked to step in and assist at other branches which includes all of our metro branches. Blaze is pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this position. New hires are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid over one year. Candidates with Fiserv DNA experience are eligible for a $5,500 sign-on bonus, paid over two years.

• Engage with our members, listen to them, and understand their situations
• Educate our members on what Blaze can do for them
• Process transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy and professionalism

Your Schedule:

• This position will be FT 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. (Saturday paid 1.5x for hours worked).
• Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the organization.

The salary range for this position is: $21.00 -$23.00/hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
