Job summary

Greene County General Hospital Worthington Clinic in Linton, IN is seeking a Float Team Certified Medical Assistant to support My Clinics locations with patient care and data collection. The CMA will work under the Clinical Director of RHCs, handling pre-visit planning, patient preparation, and coordination with providers to prioritize workload.

Position requires CMA certification, completion of an accredited MA program, CPR within one month, and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification as Medical Assistant required (CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA/CMAA) and CPR within one month of hire.
• One to three years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs selected patient care and administrative duties and assists the provider as part of the clinical care team.
• Reviews and updates patient charts prior to appointments with recent test results and correspondence.
• Prepares patients for examination, takes histories and vital signs, and assists with office procedures as directed.
• Maintains exam and treatment rooms, administers medications per provider order, and ensures patient confidentiality.
