Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist in Florida to assist surgeons and registered nurses in the sterile field during operative procedures. The role supports multiple surgical specialties within our comprehensive, faith-based hospital system.

Minimum two years of relevant experience and graduation from a Surgical Technologist program are required, along with Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Surgical Technologist Program.
• Minimum 2 years experience in surgical support roles.
• Experience in 3 of the following specialties preferred: Eyes, ENT/Plastics, Maxillofacial, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Advanced Laparoscopic.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

• Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the directions of a surgeon and registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries.
• Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.

Estimated pay range for this position is $26.50 - $32.46 / hour depending on experience, plus float differential.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications

• Graduate of Surgical Technologist Program required.
• Experience in 3 of the following specialties preferred: Eyes, ENT/Plastics, Maxillofacial, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Advanced Laparoscopic.
• Certification preferred.
