Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the sterile field for assigned procedures under the direction of surgeons and registered nurses. This role supports patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably graduate of a Surgical Technologist program. AST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in the surgical setting.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program preferred.
• AST Certification (preferred) or extensive experience in the surgical setting as a surgical technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries. Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program Preferred.
• AST Certification (preferred) or minimum of 1 year (preferred) of extensive experience in the surgical setting as a surgical technologist.
