Job summary

Children’s of Alabama, in the ENT Clinic South at Hoover, is seeking a Specialty Care Services Staff Nurse for a part-time, day-shift role (8:00–16:30). Benefits are ineligible, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric ENT patients, working with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama (or multi-state).
• BLS certification required.
• Inpatient/outpatient nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications

Essential:

• Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
  • Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
  • Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
• Basic Life Support

Education with Equivalent Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
  • Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing and 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Outpatient

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications
