Job summary

First Citizens is seeking a personable Sales and Service Representative to join our branch team in Raleigh. You will handle transactions, respond to customer requests, and help educate customers on bank capabilities while identifying opportunities for referrals.

This float position travels to eight branches in Raleigh and one in Knightdale; mileage is reimbursed. A strong emphasis on communication, customer service, adaptability, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum required education is High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of experience in customer service.

The Sales and Service Representative is responsible for processing transactions and other customer service requests in the branch. Facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources. Supports the sales efforts of a branch team by identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner.

This is a float position and will require travel to provide coverage to 8 branches in Raleigh, and 1 in Knightdale. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Service Standards - Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects and colleagues. Initiate conversation to uncover sales or referral opportunities. Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences; and take prompt actions to address immediate needs. Proactively look for ways to optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting Bank initiatives and leveraging tools to enhance activities.

Operations and Administration - Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines. Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency. Associates in roles defined to take deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency of that function. The results may include an accountability for individual contribution as well as team performance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and 6 months’ experience in customer service

License or Certification Type: Must possess a valid driver's license. Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc. Bank car not provided.Mileage will be reimbursed.
