Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain the fleet and ensure safety for patient transport services in Texas. The role supports airframe maintenance and requires FAA compliance, A&P certification, and turbine helicopter experience.

Qualified candidates will work a flexible schedule, including overtime and on-call rotations, with competitive compensation, benefits, and relocation/onsite opportunities as part of a Global Medical Response family.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience
• FAA knowledge
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance systems experience
• Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
• Must be able to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide statuses to Lead Technician
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking log
• Document service paperwork and FAA information according to policies and security standards
• Maintain safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members
