Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Float in Mount Pleasant, WI to support Med/Surge Garden units, 24-bed units with stroke and oncology focus. This part-time role requires 2 twelve-hour shifts weekly with weekend/holiday rotation and 24 hours per week.

You will complete an accredited nursing program, hold state RN license, and BLS certification. The unit emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and continuous improvement, with RN-to-patient ratios around 5:1 and nursing assistant

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process according to standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and compassionate communication to create a safe environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
