Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Franklin, TN is seeking a Float Medical-Surgical Acute Care Nurse to provide coordinated care and support for patients and families. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care, including assessments, documentation, and patient education.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year med/surg experience, TN nursing licensure, and active BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient rounding to maximize satisfaction and quality.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and document patient data.
• Promote customer service initiatives.
• Demonstrate nursing process and clinical skills in patient care.
