Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Float Medical-Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and documentation to support patient families.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of med/surg experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Tennessee RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be a Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or Compact State.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for patients with strong collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform patient rounds to maximize satisfaction and quality of care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient ages served.
• Promote excellent customer service and use the nursing process for individualized care.
• Perform essential technical skills and clinical procedures as required.
