Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Medical-Surgical Float Pool at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick in Cleveland Heights. This role supports rotating shifts with primary and secondary 7p-7a schedules and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will float to Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down and General Medicine units, performing IV placement, blood draws, Foley care, tracheostomy/NG/PEG care, and wound management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience (PRN requires 1 year).
• BSN preferred; Magnet certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Float across assigned units: Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down, General Medicine.
• Perform IV placement, blood draws, Foley catheter care, and wound care.
• Support patient care with cues from providers and care plans.
