Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH seeks a Registered Nurse for Float Pool to deliver safe, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, ICU, ED, Rehab and Senior Mental Health units. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support discharge planning.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with NH RN licensure (or compact) is required. ACLS/BCLS preferred; strong communication and documentation skills essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care across multiple units.
• Strong documentation and communication with the care team.
• Competence in coordinating interdisciplinary plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess in-patients and interview on admission for a bio-psycho-social history.
• Examine patient status and review tests and results.
• Document data accurately and communicate needs to physicians.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the team and family.
• Take primary nurse role and support charge responsibilities when needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for effects.
