Job summary

St. Luke's Health-Memorial Lufkin, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float/Flex Team. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform skilled procedures, and implement comprehensive patient care plans within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Required: ASN, 1+ year RN experience, TX RN license upon hire; CPR/BLS within 14 days. Preferred: BSN. This on-site role pays $42/hour in Texas.

Qualifications

• ASN and at least 1 year of RN experience.
• TX RN license upon hire.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care in a cost-effective, quality-driven and patient-focused manner.
• Performs ongoing assessments, formulates nursing diagnoses, plans interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
• Documents in patient/unit records according to health system standards.
• Provides patient/family teaching on pain management, nutrition, skin integrity, fall prevention, diabetes, discharge instructions.
• Demonstrates commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, ethics, and cost containment.
