Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process, addressing physical, emotional, and cultural needs of diverse patients.

You will develop care plans, collaborate with inter-professional teams, educate patients and families, and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives while adhering to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire strongly preferred
• 1 year Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
• Integrates Evidence-Based Practice, clinical expertise, patients and families in care delivery.
• Educates patients and families on learning priorities and care plans.
