Eating Recovery Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Float Registered Nurse for full-time overnights. You will float between Seattle Pathlight and Bellevue ERC residential facilities, ensuring coordinated nursing care for patients under the ERC Pathlight system.

The role requires an active WA RN license, BLS, and a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays. Prior mental health experience is preferred, with opportunities to mentor staff and participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate’s degree in nursing and active WA RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of nursing services: assessment, care planning, treatment, and evaluating patient response.
• Administer medications per policy and provider orders.
• Place/maintain IV access, administer IV fluids, and manage enteral feeding.
• Document care in EMR and supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses and technicians.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.

What you’ll be doing:

Schedule: Full‑time overnights, three 12‑hour shifts per week, 6:00pm-6:30am, every other weekend/schedule flexibility required. Will float between Seattle Pathlight and Bellevue Eating Recovery Center residential facilities. Active WA RN license required.

The Float Registered Nurse (RN) provides coordinated medical and clinical nursing care to meet the needs of each assigned patient within the ERC Pathlight system. They will partner with a interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and a consistently therapeutic milieu for all patients.

As a leader of the health care team, the Float RN provides professional nursing care, utilizing sound clinical judgement, in alignment with ERC Pathlight’s established standards of care, policies, and procedures. They are expected to remain flexible, demonstrate effective, efficient care while maintaining quality, in alignment with ERC Pathlight’s vision, mission, and strategic plan. All teammates are expected to treat patients, families, and co‑workers with dignity and respect.

The Float Registered Nurse must be:

• Willing and able to work at all ERC Pathlight local sites as assigned
• Compliant with licensure and certification requirements for each practice location
• Maintain flexible schedule to meet organizational staffing needs
• Available to work weekends and holidays as required
• Available to work on‑call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Performs a full range of nursing services including assessment, care planning, administering treatment, and evaluating patient response to care in accordance with the patient’s treatment plan
  • Performs initial intake assessment of new patients and discharge reconciliation and education
  • Places, receives, and completes provider orders per ERCP policy
  • Administers medications via multiple routes in accordance with ERCP policy and provider orders
  • Performs phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testing in accordance with ERCP policy and laboratory vendor protocols
  • Places/maintains nasogastric tubes and administers enteral feeding
  • Places/maintains intravenous access and administers intravenous fluids
  • Performs wound care
  • Documents all direct patient care, monitoring, and observation in the electronic medical record
  • Supervises and delegates care to Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and Behavioral Health Technicians
• Communicates and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement an individualized treatment plan for each assigned patient
  • Ensures care provided aligns with the individualized treatment plan and patient outcome goals
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings regarding patient progress toward treatment goals and planning for continued or changing clinical interventions
  • Documents and reports to treatment team regarding patient status and progress
  • Participates in training, teaching, and mentoring new nursing department teammates
  • Responds to emergency situations until emergency medical services (EMS/911) arrive on scene

  • Associate’s degree in nursing (Required)

  $43.20 - $52.92 USD
