Job summary

The Henry Ford Health system seeks an RN for the Float Staffing Pool at Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital in Southfield, MI. This contingent, as-needed role features 12-hour shifts and dynamic patient care coordination.

You will apply the nursing process, supervise care, and collaborate with the health care team to maintain high-quality patient outcomes. BSN preferred; 2 years of related experience; Michigan RN licensure and BCLS required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• 2 years recent related clinical nursing experience.

Education/Experience Required

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• 2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.

Certification/Licensure Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
