The position requires Michigan RN licensure and timely completion of mandatory certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC, Handle with Care, restraints). Leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within 1 year after 2 years of experience in a qualifying role.
• Handle with Care Basic Certification within 6 months of hire and annual recertification.
• Hard cuff and Soft Limb Restraints Certification within 6 months of hire and annual recertification.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care and evaluates outcomes.
• Performs assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates care with patient collaboration.
• Directs nursing staff and adjusts daily staffing as needed.
• Uses technology and infection prevention standards.
• Educates patients and families.
• Reports incidents according to Oaklawn procedures.
• Participates in unit-based performance improvement activities.
