About This Role

The Float Registered Nurse at CVS Health is a clinical care team member focused on delivering quality patient care within a Value-Based Care model. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about improving patient health outcomes and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Pay: $66,575 - $142,576/year
• Location: Norristown, PA
• Schedule: Full-time

What You'll Do

• Support patient assessment and prioritization for walk-in and telephonic triage.
• Execute protocol-driven chronic condition management.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care and medication administration.
• Conduct medication reviews within nurse-led visits.
• Conduct onsite testing and use patient data to identify gaps in preventative screenings.
• Review and act upon high-priority abnormal laboratory results.
• Partner with providers to manage complex care plans and coordinate transitions.
• Utilize standardized protocols for medication management and prior authorizations.
• Ensure clinical communications are managed and patient visit encounters are closed timely.
• Delegate tasks to medical assistants and phlebotomists as needed.

Requirements

Education: Active, Unrestricted Registered Nurse or LPN Licensure in the state of residence

Experience: 2+ years of healthcare experience, working as an RN preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• BLS or CPR Certification required
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
