Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Float Radiology Technologist to perform imaging across age groups using a wide range of radiographic equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, QA participation, and adherence to established protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.

The position offers a 90% FTE schedule (day and PM shifts), with weekends and holidays rotation and a guaranteed 62 hours per pay period. A $13,500 sign-on bonus may apply based on FTE.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT Radiography certification must be obtained upon hire.
• Wisconsin Radiological License is required upon hire.
• CPR certification within 3 months is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve image processing and archiving system issues.
• Learn and adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Education
