Job summary

Select Medical's Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Union and Essex County seeks a Float Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The full-time (40 hours weekly) position pays $33–$44 per hour, with a float differential and gas mileage reimbursement. An $8,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid state license (where applicable) as a PTA with CAPTE certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• State license must be valid in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed PT per State Practice Act.
• Assist PT in carrying out prescribed treatment plans.
• Deliver high quality PT services with minimal supervision.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, and support case management.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and staff.
