Job summary

Coatesville VA Medical Center is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive primary medical care at the Main Campus and/or Delaware Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. The role involves working within a Patient Aligned Care Team and may include duties in the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program, with a focus on diagnosing, treating and managing a patient panel.

The position requires an MD or DO, a current unrestricted US license, VA-approved residency training, and board

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required
Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US
Residency training in an approved core specialty
Board certification/eligibility preferred in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with Women’s Health/Geriatrics experience considered
Proficiency in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

Provide medical care at the Coatesville VA Medical Center Main Campus and/or affiliated clinics
Deliver patient-centered primary medical care within a Patient Aligned Care Team
Diagnose, treat and manage a panel of patients and coordinate care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and adherence to standardized guidelines
Participate in multidisciplinary primary care activities and ensure timely documentation in EMR
Travel between Coatesville VAMC and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics as needed
