Job summary

ServiceMaster Commercial Services is seeking a Janitorial Team Member - Float Position in Mountain Iron, MN. This role covers flexible hours and 20–40 hours per week, starting at $18 per hour with gas compensation for a personal vehicle.

You will perform routine cleaning, sanitize restrooms and break rooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required, with emphasis on reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed
• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle; gas will be compensated for
